Alissa Welschmeyer is the Founder and Principal Designer of Olive Tree: A Design & Build Co. For over 15 years, she has worked with clients of all kinds to help create their dream homes. With each project, she strives to personalize every space with practical, yet timeless elegance. Her goal is always to enhance the lives of her clients through her experience and dedication.

 

Alissa received her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies-Interior Design from The University of Missouri-Columbia, a CIDA accredited program. After over a decade as an Interior Designer, specializing in kitchens and baths, she opened Olive Tree in 2019, and expanded her services to include not only drafting, but General Contracting as well. With these additions, Alissa now serves her clients from consult to project completion.

As a designer, Alissa is recognized as a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer by the National Kitchen and Bath Association. She is also an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

 

As a woman in business, Alissa is regularly recognized in publications with focuses ranging from home interiors to business, and was most recently named a Woman To Watch. She is active in her community and is always looking for ways to better connect with and support other local businesses.

Aside from work, Alissa is married to her husband, Blake. The two share two children, Oliver and Sophia, along with three dogs in their Columbia, Missouri home. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, running and spending time with their friends and family.
